Sure, you can pass the puck. But regardless of how well you play the game, the likelihood you’re taking home the Stanley Cup this season is slim. Hockey is full of unsung heroes, and often, the closest thing you get to a shiny finisher’s medal is a shiner from that guy’s elbow you took to the face.

Eligibility
To enter, you must be at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, District of Columbia and Canada. Hockey World employees and their immediate family members are not eligible. Immediate family includes only spouses, parents and children.
Multiple Votes per Person
You may not submit multiple votes for each photograph. Only one vote per person will be counted.
Inappropriate Content
Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. We retain sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
Rights
By entering the contest, entrants agree to have their submitted name displayed on our website and used by us for any purpose, at any time, without any fee or other form of compensation. We reserve the right to disqualify users, without notice, and for any reason.
Schedule
Contest opens Monday, October 28, 2013. Entries will be accepted through Monday, December 2, 2013 at 7:00 a.m. CDT. Voting begins Monday, December 2, 2013 at 7:00 a.m. CDT and ends Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 7:00 a.m. CDT. A sole winner will be chosen by the most number of votes on his or her photo. A winner will be announced Thursday, December 19, 2013 on Hockey World’s Facebook page and on the contest entry application ‘Winners’ page.
